JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT HOSTING BLOOD DRIVE
SANTA ANA, Calif. – John Wayne Airport (JWA) will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on January 26, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be parked on the Lower (arrival) Level at the red curb outside of the Thomas F. OCASSE Chapter Meeting – September 21, 2011 “Back to School”
The Orange County Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) will be hosting their own “Back to School” event on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. They have invited Mr. Jason Vogel Director, Center for Training and Development Director, OSHA Training Institute California State University, Dominguez Hills to discuss the educational opportunities at the OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC).

Mr. Richard Fazlollahi, District Manager, Cal/OSHA in Anaheim, spoke on Wednesday, August 17, at the monthly lunch meeting of the O.C. Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), at the offices of the Red Cross, in Santa Ana.
Over 75 members and visitors attended the OC ASSE meeting.

The Orange County Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers held their first lunch meeting at the Santa Ana offices of the American Red Cross today. The meeting room was packed as the OC ASSE members turned out to listen to Steve Donohoe speak about swimming pool and spa safety.
Debbie M. Leahy-Graves, the Regional Director of the American Red Cross Orange County’s Preparedness, Health and Safety Services, welcomed the OC ASSE to her facility. This is National Flood Safety Awareness Week (March 14 to 18) and is intended to highlight some of the many ways floods can occur, the hazards associated with floods, and what you can do to save life and property.
