Southern California Section, AIHA and Orange County Section, AIHA, in cooperation with Health Science Associates, is hosting a Comprehensive Review of Industrial Hygiene to help Industrial Hygienists Prepare for ABIH Certification Winter 2013, Spring 2013
Review of Industrial Hygiene, Part I starts the last Saturdayof January each year. Classes are held every other Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The dates are January 26, February 9, February 23,and March 9, 2013. The registration for Part I is $385 and includes the syllabus and studyguide forparts I & II. Classes will be held in the Training Room of Health Science Associates, 10771 Noel Street, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. Enter from the parking area on the west side.

Review of Industrial Hygiene, Part II continues every other Saturday and meets from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, March 23, April 6, April 20, and May 4, 2013. Registration for Part II is $385. Review of Industrial Hygiene is designed for the practicing industrial hygienist and the health andsafetyprofessional desiring to advance their careers. This course has been used by many to preparefor the American Board of Industrial Hygiene comprehensive examination leading to certification in industrial hygiene. Part I covers the topics that form the foundation of industrial hygiene, including chemistry, toxicology, ventilation, and personal protective equipment. Part II covers more advanced topics, including ionizing and nonionizing radiation, hearing conservation, management,and regulatory affairs.
The instructors, Jim Unmack, C.I.H., C.S.P., P.E. and Joe Kukla, C.I.H., C.S.P., P.E., have been teaching this course since 1976.
