The Orange County Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (O.C. ASSE) will be hosting a Cal-OSHA Update on August 17, 2011, at 11:20 am, to bring everyone up-to-date with the latest changes and plans within the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
The O.C. ASSE’s August speaker is Mr. Richard Fazlollahi, District Manager, Cal-OSHA. He will provide a brief update on developments in the Division. This will be a great opportunity to ask him your questions about enforcement, consultation, standards and research.
Mr Fazlollahi has been with the Division for 22 years. During this time, he held a position in Research & Standards, was a Standards Coordinator and Compliance Officer prior to assuming his current role as District Manager.
Mr Fazlollahi has a Bachelors of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering and Associates degree in Electronics.
In preparation for this meeting, you are invited to submit questions for Mr. Fazlollahi to address during his presentation. Please submit your questions via e-mail to email@example.com no later than 8/12/11.
The meeting will be held at the American Red Cross of Orange County, at their Parkcenter Building, Room 208, located at 600 N. Parkcenter Drive, in Santa Ana.
