Dr. Maier has 18 years of professional work experience in the areas of environmental health, occupational hygiene, and toxicology. He currently serves as the Director for the non-profit organization Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA). He provides overall management and strategic direction for the organization in concert with the Board of Directors and the Management Executive Committee. In this role he monitors and tracks the organizational budget, develops and implements management strategies to enhance organization performance, leads marketing and project development efforts, and supervises scientific staff.
Course Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of current regulatory requirements for hazard communication, as well as both the hazard and risk assessments of chemicals.
