Don is a technical product specialist and a research chemist. Before joining Best, he worked for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on chemical toxicology studies that included Agent Orange Study, PCBs and PBBs. He is a noted speaker and expert on a variety of occupational and workplace hazards, including latex allergies and chemical exposure-related illnesses. He is a part of the local Citizen’s Meth Task Force and serves on the NFPA 1999 Technical Committee for Emergency Medical Services and the American Industrial Hygiene Association’s Protective Clothing and Equipment Committee.
Don Linville, Hepaco
Don is an Industrial Hygienist who is also a recognized AIHA Fellow. He has had many dangerous positions with Hepaco, an environmental hazmat company. Don worked extensively on the Gulf Oil Spill Crisis this past year. Don Linville has over 30 years experience providing technical direction to both private sector and government agencies regarding all aspects of health and hygiene with emphases on industrial hygiene, health and safety. Specific program establishment and maintenance, as well as required training, including Incident Command, HAZWOPER, Blood-Borne Pathogens, Air Monitoring, Personal Protective Equipment Selection and Care, and Haz Mat site control are included in areas of expertise.
